Our Leadership Team
Wes Adkins
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Wes began working in the logistics industry in 2003 while attending the University of Arkansas. He worked at the highest levels of industry leading companies including BNSF Railway, Halliburton Energy Services, and CIG Logistics, where he independently managed and was responsible for 28 terminals across the country.
Wes is a devoted family man. He enjoys spending time at home with his wife and 4 children as well as playing golf competitively.
Andy Klinck
SENIOR VP OF OPERATIONS
Andy was most recently employed at U.S. Silica for over 10 years. During his time there , he achieved multiple, consecutive promotions to lead supply chain functions, which includes logistics, procurement, rail, truck, and barge transportation, 3rd-party warehousing, and project management. Tackling complex business issues to convert supply chain networks of 19 origins, 50 destinations, and 300+ unique O-D pairing lanes from cost centers to profit centers. He also maintained accountability for $400M+ annual spend and 100+ person cross-functional team.
Prior to Andy’s time at US Silica, he managed the Due Diligence process for a boutique Private Equity firm out of Lexington, KY. Andy also supported multiple automotive Tier 1 suppliers while with the PE firm and worked with Tesla to support their launch of the Model S in 2014. Andy also held multiple roles at Delphi Automotive from 2003 to 2010.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys golfing, Formula 1 racing, spending time with his wife and their Golden Retriever, Max. Originally from Flint, MI, Andy and his wife have been married for over 20 years and currently reside in The Woodlands, TX.
Chase Arthur
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES
Chase began his career within the rail industry in 2006 with two internships at BNSF while attending Abilene Christian University.
Chase began working at BNSF full-time after graduation in 2008, where he served in a multitude of commercial roles in the industrial products and intermodal sales and marketing teams.
He has had extensive sales and marketing experience in petroleum and chemical products, construction materials, and consumer products intermodal.
Over his 14-year tenure at BNSF, Chase called on several multi-million dollar national accounts, and negotiated multiple long-term agreements totaling over half a billion dollars in revenue to BNSF.
When Chase isn’t finding ways to grow business, he supports his wife Lacie in the corralling of their two young boys Cade and Cole.
Rich Duncan
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Rich began working in the railroad industry in 1996 on a section gang while attending Oklahoma Christian University. He completed a degree in Business Communications and went to work for BNSF Railroad. He held multiple operations leadership roles with BNSF Railway along with Director roles in the Finance and Sourcing Departments. We are excited to introduce Rich as our Vice President of Operations, where he will lead all of our rail and transloading operations, rail services and the safety programs.
He enjoys spending time at home with his wife Jen and 4 kids. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time boating and snow skiing.
Adam Shaddy
SR. MANAGER OF OPERATIONS
Adam’s first role in transportation was hands on, driving a forklift on a trucking dock. From there, he went into freight brokering truckloads, and soon found himself in the rail industry building a career with The Greenbrier Companies. Adam has spent time in account management, building high functioning teams, and has played a part in developing and selling industry leading rail logistics software.
Adam graduated from George Fox University, majoring in Management & Organizational leadership, and minoring in Project Management.
Recently re-located to the Fort Worth area, Adam is excited to begin a new chapter, which will include helping US Rail & Logistics grow and develop into a national leader for Rail & Logistics services.
When not at work, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.
